Accents

yeah I can fake a british accent and sound just like hermione granger. =]

but yeah im from the south. (Louisiana) So i have a southern/country accent.,
But i dont go around saying howdy yall lol.. i just have the accent.

We went to Colorado, one year and this woman at the diner kept asking me to talk cause she liked my southern accent. i found it quite strange though hah

Uhm. American? xD
I don't want another accent but I can fake a British accent that sounds perfectly native to England. :p

Do you have one?
no

Do you want a cetain accent?
yes. i want like a new york/ italian accent. that would be so cool!

I don't really have one. Sometimes I have a tendency to say french derived words with a french or acadian accent... and sometimes I start trying to talk like a Newfie without really noticing it... I'm bad at it xD
I'd like a Newfie accent. I love them.
There;s also a guy who takes my bus, he either has a British or Australian accent, and it's so amazing to listen to him talk.

I don't have a Southern accent. This only recently came to my attention because I started noticing it more when I hear people with really strong accents of the Hannah Montana persuasion, and I wondered why. It's probably from not spending much time around other folks who have that accent, though, my next-door neighbor of four years being the only person I see regularly. So now whenever I hear someone with a thick accent it always seems twice as pronounced because I'm thinking about it, and that's saying something.

I'd probably like having one of the softer, less rough Southern accents, I think. They always sound so nice: not horribly, jarringly different from basic un-accented speech, but still pretty and pleasant to hear.

Ask him to say G'day mate.

I try and try to get that perfect but i'm useless at accents. Unfortunately if someone talks to me in an accent i start copying it sub-consciously and it's really embarassing because i'm so crappy at them.

I have an awful southern accent. Thicker than miley cyrus, just to give you an idea. :faint:

Shelby I would LOVE to hear your accent! I cannot picture you with a thick southern accent!!

I dont think I have an accent, but I'm sure people from America or somewhere else may think I do. I know when I first moved to Ontario from Quebec I had a bit of an accent (not hardcore french or anything, but I was just used to speaking in a different way there)

I can pretty much fake any accent out there though...
It's one of my hidden talents.

some words have more of an accent than others do. you would love to hear me say 'washing powder' ;)

I don't think I have an accent? I suppose I do, but obviously I don't hear it. My dad has a heavy italian accent and my mom has a polish accent, and i dont hear either of them. Most people in my neighbourhood have an italian accent or other european accent, so I am so used to it i dont even hear them anymore.

I dont have one, but my mom and dad have spanish accents.
I don't know what accent I would like...

I'm accent-less. While I do live in the south, I don't have a southern accent. But I do say "ya'll" and "ain't" sometimes. =)

I'd love a Russian accent. Weird, I know, but I'm in love with it.

I guess its where I live that I dont notice it

but a few of my friends keep saying that I have kinda a...well,

a virginian accent??

I have never even heard of this before,
but apperently I have one

:O

:rotfl: I thought I was the only one! :rotfl:

I have a RI accent. Drop/add R's to random words. Uh we say Wicked a lot. Do any of you know what a "bubbler" is (Besides 3mtn-kate or AmandaSparks730)? Just watch Family Guy and that's the accent I have.

I would love to have a British or Irish accent. My dance teacher's mom still has her accent it's so cool.

everyone should know what a bubbler is. a bubbler is what you drink out of. a water fountain is what you look at. duhhhh.;)

i have a midwestern accent.
i say melk. and bahgel (but i don't think that's midwestern)
and i say cal-ca-lator.
and buddon.

ahhaha i think i made up my own accent....

I've got a hard core boston/northern new england accent. To the point where when I speak, 'r's are pretty much non-existent if they come after a vowel.

Car= "Kah"
Yard= "Yahd"

I know what a Bubbler is!!! YAY!

I'd love...an Irish accent. Either that or a French one.

I've got a North Jersey accent. My parents' are worse than mine!

I'd love a british one. (:
