just about everyone knows what i sound like on here... i have a strong british accent (which i just can't hear!)

I was told by the quiz that I have a western accent. I actually have a very strong Boston/Northern New England accent. I pronounce anything ending in -er, -ir, -ar, -ur, and -or as 'ah', 'oh', and 'uh'. I think it's all my bus driver's fault. I never did that until he came along. He grew up in Southie so his accent is supah strong.

Thats probably true.
Everyone thinks my mom is from Georgia because the way she talks so yeah, I probably sound the same.

I wait tables. My friend at work was once waiting a table of American tourists with southern accents, so she put on an accent as a joke (but they didn't know it was a joke) and they left her a really big tip. I guess southerners like southern accents too, lol.

I've lived in the South for pretty much my whole life (NC, oh yeah!) So I have a Southern accent. It isn't major, but it shows sometimes. In my experience, Northern guys love it.
