Roberto, it's me, your Ship of Fools gift exchangee. I am going on the rafting excursion and we leave from the pier at 8:30. Will there be enough time to do the gift exchange before my excursion, or should we wait until after?

I'll be on the pier supervising the excursions in the morning, I will have your gift in hand just in case we run into each other, there will be a ton of people on the pier...so we could do it on you return, just ask for me with any security officer on the pier; they'll contact me.

Is there a swim with the dolphins place in acapulco? I thought last time I was there on a RCCL ship they offered that as an option. Can you please let me know.

Yes at the CICI waterpark you can swim with the dolphins, although they usually book the entire day for cruise ship guests.

The port approved cabs charge $9USD (one way) to take you to the divers, the van can take a maximum of 8 persons. You can easily find cabs available at the divers or arrange your same driver to wait for you.

And I would assume since the Magic is only in port from 11:30am - 7:30pm we would only be able to make the 1pm diver show.

How's the water out at La Roqueta Island?
Safe enough to go snorkeling in without getting sick?
Is it clear (good visibility)?

Ports in the Pacific are not the best places to snorkel, since at this time if year it's our rain season; expect murky waters and less than 5' visibilty. I recently went snorkeling at La Roqueta and not much to see, and there was a few plastic bags in the water. You won't get sick, but, would't not recommend.

Lot of sea urching, volcancic rocks and a few tropical fish.

About 28Km away or 30 minutes by cab, they would charge about $25USD each way.
