I have been reading on these discussion forms, about guest who take advantage of some of the programs offered at WDW. Some of the ones that appeared recently were unauthorized use of the second card offered thru the DDE plan; allowing others guest than the purchaser to use the AP to get discounts on food and merchandise; the use of refillable mugs at other locations than where they were purchased and using refillable mugs beyond the original stay, (although in 1996 at then Dixie Landings, we purchased out first refillable cups with the declaration that they were good at Dixie Landings as long as you come back with the same cup). Having more guest staying in DVC or the “Resort room” than permitted. Perhaps you can site other examples.

What do you think about stretching the intent of such programs? Is it OK because it’s … or is it wrong because of …

DVC Grandpa, There are always the one or few that abuse and when this catches on then TPTB seem to have to create new rules to help maintain
structure within that group. It is sad and I understand about the stories on the boards. An individual who abuses the system one place usually does it other places. I dislike the abuse but I dislike so "many" rules even more.
Who wants to go on vacation and read the handbook of rules? It would be best if Disney/DVC challenged each abuse on an individual bases to free the rest of us who try hard not too!
ahhhhhhhhh, I just wish I was at the happiest place on earth right now.... I need a mickey fix ..........
