Absolute cheapest WL to MCO transport one way?

Hi guys.

We're taking the MExpress on our way in (staying at AsMu), but then we transfer to Wilderness lodge villas.

From what I gather, we can't take the express back, as we will be at a DVC. Is that correct?

If that is the case, what is the absolute cheapest way to get from WLV to MCO for 2 adults. We won't need a grocery stop. We don't need class. We just need a taxi. (This was a cost I did not factor into our planning budget, and now things are looking tighter than I'd like....help?)

You absolutely CAN take Magical Express. Just call DVC member services and set it up.

You can also set it up upon arrival at the Magical Express desk at the airport, or set it up with guest services at your resort.

One question, then....Since I rented the points from a member here on the dis, do they need to set up the Magic Express for me, or can I do it since the room is in my name?

I've got tickets on delta, and with the 4 flight changes I've had to roll with thus far, I'd be afraid that I wouldn't be able to contact the DVC member if there was another last minute glitch.

That I don't know about. Folks on the DVC board may be able to answer better than I can. I don't own DVC, but I have read on the FAQs that DVC guests can use Magical Express.

However, if worse comes to worse, as I said, you can make your return arrangements when you arrive at the Magical Express desk at MCO, or when you get to your resort, you can make arrangements at guest services at Villas Wilderness Lodge.

Also, since you are flying Delta, you can go over to the Resort Check-In desk (probably over at Wilderness Lodge main building), and check your bags directly to your home airport from the resort and get your boarding passes for your trip home. (As long as your flight isn't before 8:30 am).

You don't have to call DVC to set up your magical express return trip. You should be able to do it through ME when you set up your trip from the airport. Just tell them that you are moving hotels, and where they need to pick you up. We stayed at SSR this past October and didn't have a problem with ME.
