Absolute CHEAPEST Motel

I LOVE this interactive site for pricing hotels that are close to disneyland
http://www.geocities.com/ashpsyche/DisneylandLinkMap

So far, the cheapest I've found is the Super 8 on the corner of Clemintime and Katella. I don't think I'd want to be any further than that, or you're looking at a 20+minute walk.

That web site sounds like a great idea. It's currently down for maintenance but it sounds like the kind of thing I've been looking for.

really? It's working fine for me?

try super8.com and do a "disneyland" search. I'm getting $44-$52 a night.

when are you going? And are you driving to the hotel? I looked up Little Boy Blue hotel which claims $39 and "1 block from DL"

Anaheim Plaza it was about 40 per night including tax and we loved it!!!

Next Summer. First week of June. $39, now that's what I'm talking about. Little Boy Blue, sounds classy, I'll have to check it out. Thanks!

ok heres the thing about Little Boy Blue...it has always been notorious for having druggies and prostitutes there...I can understand cheap and I can even understand the bed in a closet thing and prostitutes...but there is no way I could deal with druggies....Alpine inn might be the better fit for you...however, its a few minutes away....

We just stayed at Quality Inn & Suites Anaheim Resort for 56.79 a night (AAA rate). Free parking. Clean rooms. 10 min walk to park and plus you can get your midnight McFlurry on the way to your room.

I think anything on Harbor is a safe bet. I NEVER hear anyone talk about Blue Boy, I just looked it up and saw it was cheap. I think Anaheim Plaza is probably has it all. cheap safe and close

I agree with Anaheim Plaza. It may be a couple dollars more, but you know what you're getting there.

Seriously, if you're looking for a nasty hotel adventure, I could name a few others besides Little Boy Blue . . . ;)

Another vote for Anaheim Plaza. I paid $57/nite for two nites plus a $20 booking fee on otel.com. Yes, otel.com, no h. Cheap, clean, decent service, walking distance. No bugs, ac that works and a pool. Works for me on an otherwise sold out weekend!

Hmmm, druggies and prostitutes, eh? Man, you are testing the limits of what I can handle. Yeah, I guess maybe I don't want to be...well, scratch that. I don't want my family to be in a place with druggies and prostitutes. Oh, Little Boy Blue with your $39 dollars a night, why must you break my heart?

Yeah, unless you want Little Boy Blue to come blow your horn, you might want to find somewhere else ;)

I think Motel 6 Maingate is 55 a night...really cheap and not too far from the parks...we've stayed there about 3 times and it's totally clean!

That's what I keep hearing! :thumbsup2 We're going to be staying there in December. Unless Hojo comes out with the entertainment rate for those days.

You can book directly from their website and not have to pay the booking fee at all. Plus you have the option of canceling the reservation without an charge up to 48 hours in advance. Right now it's at $59/night for your dates. Prostitutes and drug dealers are extra.

Looks like if DD's B~day trip happens (over the 4th of July weekend) we'll go with M6 Maingate ~ I'm getting the following rates:
7/3 - $62.69
7/4 - $50.39
7/5 - $50.39

I'd reserve it today but my debit card "expires" the end of next month so they won't take it. Once I get my new debit card I'll set it up.

*ADDING ~ booked a room a bit ago. My mom let me use her card to hold it! I wonder how much airfare will be ~ perhaps we'll drive for the 1st time. I think this will be a trip for just the 2 of us!

We stayed here in May--and it was 50-60/night--we didn't walk cause my mom was in a wheelchair but it's basically south across the street from the parking lot of Paradise Pier. It's small, not too many rooms, but had a full hot breakfast each morning and the pool was heated and clean (important to 4 yo nephew).

They've just remodeled so the bathroom fixtures were all new and it was relatively clean.

I just checked it for my and DH trip first week of Dec and for the 3 nights we would be there it was 53-59/night for the 2 of us. I noticed they do have a 'suite' now that holds up to 6... for 30ish more per night.
