We are looking at buying a 15' above ground pool for our yard and I was wondering If any one on here has had a pool installed in Windsor Ontario????
WE have never had a pool so we have no idea what to look for or questions to even ask. How much should we pay and anyother questions I am forgetting. Fill me in please.
Thank you again.
I need reviews please on companies.

I'm not sure how many swimmers you will have at your house but a 15 foot pool will seem really small- you put a couple air matresses in there and there is not much room for swimmers- we had an 18 foot one for years and it was too small for really swimming- so my suggestion is to go bigger if you can/have the space etc. We put the two we have had in ourselves- pool itself not too bad- leveling and compacting the sand preparing the land was a lot of work in our location- we dished ours out in the middle so it is a little over 5 feet deep in the middle. May want to look into a salt water chlorinator- no chemicals to buy and no smells- water stays clear a lot easier. A site to get an idea of prices without installation is http://www.blueoceanpools.com/products/ci/1/pi/37

We have had a 27 foot for about 8 years, I was surprised at the time at how little price differance there was between each size. I think if you have the extra space get as big as you can afford, we live on 80 acres so space wasn't an issue for us, you will never want less swimming space. My parents live on a standard 100X150 city lot in NS and they installed a 24 foot and it is a good size, their close friends put in a 18 foot at the same time and are sorry they didn't go up to the 21 or 24 it was only $500-$800 more. Remember you'll have it for 10-15 years likely so thats $50 or less more per summer.

I agree with previous poster, we have a 24" one and it is fine. When you get 3-4 people in it you still have room to move. Ground prep took the greatest amount of time as it has to be really level. Ours is a chlorine pool so we do have to use chemicals, but try to keep them to a minimum. You never smell chlorine in ours. Great fun.

I only think a 15' will fit in our yard. I was thinking oval too but we will have to see. When we were childern we had a 15' around and it was the perfect size. There are only 2 adults that live in the house so far. We are going to the Pool store as soon as He gets home from work. We are going to get it installed before the HST kicks in. Thanks for all your help.

We have a 27' round and love it. Got about 15 teens in there the other night and it was great. Lots of room. I think you can go smaller for sure. Ours goes to 5'7 in center so that is nice!
