?? about Webcertificates

I read the post re: using Mypoints for webcertificates then for Disney dollars. I think I have it figured out but want to make sure.

I cash out my points(b/4 June 1 as rewards increase) for a webcertificate. Then at Webcertificate, I "shop anywhere". I can type in my local mall's website and poof... up it comes. I use my webcertificate to buy mall gift certificates. Now I trot down to my DS with my mall gc and buy DDs. Is that correct? It takes some us longer to catch on!!
