??? about VB add on and MB.....

I know I know we said we were done adding on..... but now DH has a bug to go to VB during peak times (just two or three days at the end or begining of our WDW vacations) SO we are looking at a small add on... maybe 50-75 points, to be used every two or three years.

I talked to my guide yesterday and she says they are offering 15 MB for our December UY but not for our August UY (the one we want to add the VB pts too) It seems it is too close to August, for the MB to kick in right now........

I asked if we waited to by VB until August, would the 15 pp MB be in effect......... she had no clue........ we in theroy would quailfy for it then.... but she had no idea if it would still be offered.....

We really want this to be added on to our BWV contract (August UY)

I guess I am asking for any insight about when the 15 pp MB at VB will end............................

Who knows how long MB will be in place, but we usually have at least *SOME* advance info or rumors... we have neither right now, so I'd say you are safe to wait til August... I would certainly think that once you are beyond August 1st, you would be able to qualify for MB. If your guide doesn't know that, I'd wonder how long she'd been with DVC? Seems like a straightforward question and answer...

Chris, I am sorry I wasn't clean in my OP.... My guide said there would be no problem doing the MB in August.... She just didn't know if it would still be offered. Thus my asking if anyone had heard any rumors.

I want to add that my guide is wonderful, very knowledgeable in all aspects of DVC and, on more than one occasion, has bent over backwards for us, securing ressies and special requests. WE LOVE HER. (sorry felt the need to defend her! LOL) BUT she is a bit closed lip'd when it comes to info like this........ She likes to tease me and tells me that my Internet friends (you all) find out about deadlines and such before 1/2 the guides do, so I should ask here! <---- anyone seen my teeth?

Oh Sorry Laura, I misunderstood your original question But, I think you're guide is correct, I honestly think we get the info before 1/2 the guides!! At least they know we're educated right? We might even have the same guide, your description matches our guide perfectly (Michelle)! She has helped us out several times!

So the MB watch will continue, nothing as of right now!
