Right, I'm going for it! About to book for September! Any last minute advice?? should I try the 'oh but we weren't expecting it to be so expensive! any chance of getting the price down' line?
When I found a price with Disneyland Paris Direct (website) in June I went into Thomas cook who book through Disney over the phone and they price matched and I get more than what I found with Disneyland Paris Direct - so no harm in asking about price matching worked for us got £300 off starting price with Thomas Cook/Disney
Good luck
I wouldn't book anything at the mo with Thomas cook as the company is apparently in trouble. I took the price from the website and made sure they gave me the same price on the phone. They tried to sell my the admirals floor at NPB and included insurance which I removed as I have my own. I didn't try to get them down in price at all as the lady was quite abrupt so I thought I have no chance So its all sorted now! yippiee!!!!
I found the CM I spoke to the other week quite abrupt too - very surly. I had seen a 30% off offer (had been watching it for a few weeks but couldn't book at the time), I went to book and the offer had gone that day! I rang up and before I even really got to ask if they could offer anything/price match the CM told me he'd had a number of calls that day and if you want to book at a certain prices you must book when you see it! In my circumstances, I couldn't have booked and when I explained the reason behind it (and it was a genuine reason) he was very unsympathetic.
