About to book Christmas 2005

I'm planning my first cruise, and am ready to book the Magic Eastern for Dec. 24-31, 2005.

I got 2 quotes so far for 3 adults, 1 child, Cat. 6.
Disney Travel and MouseEarVacations.com both give me the sametotal of $8025 including DCL transfers, but no insurance.
I'm waiting for Small World Travel, Micdan.com, DU, and one other I can't remember right now.

MouseEarsVacations broke it down to $2467.35 pp 1st/2nd
$1447.35 pp 3rd adult, and $1447.35 4th pp age 13. Plus $49 pp for transfers.

I'm going to be spending a lot of time over here on the cruise boards, so I thought I'd share my info, and say hi!

it looks like All Seasons Travel (http://www.allseas.com) has it cheaper than your quotes:

their price for 4 people in a cat 6. is $7329 + $400 ($200 each for the 3rd and 4th passenger, because all passengers are over 12 years old), so $7729 + $196 for transfer $7925.

okay, so it's only $100 cheaper. but all seas usually beats most anyone, except if you're a costco member (or sam's club or bj's) they may offer even bigger discount!

Do these prices you quote include airfare? We are looking to book the 2005 Christmas cruise too and our quote is much higher, but I think it is due to the airfare! (It was through the DCL website.)

Hi Aisling! I think it's great that you are shopping around like you are...you never know where you can save money.

I also wanted to say that DH and I did our first Disney Cruise as a 7-day Eastern during Christmas in 2001 and it was such a magical and wonderful way to spend the holiday. I have no doubt that you and your family will have a fantastic time!
