Some regulars may remember me and my predicament. I bought some pins off Ebay for trading before I realized they had swing arm or jewelry type closure backs (brooch style?).
Anyways, I just arrived home after a week from Disney and am happy to report I had no problems trading these pins. One CM hesitated until I showed her the Disney copyrights, and then she was fine.
I traded 2 in a pin book at a station and 7 more with CM's. I have no idea what the pins I received are (LE, DS, etc.) but I like them.
DD would only let me trade the doubles so I had an entire lanyard filled with the Pooh jewelry type pins and received quite a few comments from CM's and guests who really liked them.
I also traded a ten year old Snow White Witch/Queen pin for the one pin I really wanted (Mickey shaking hands with soldier) at the pin station at DTD so I am very happy with my pin trading experiences.
Thank you for all your advice and encouragement. It was a lot of fun!
