I just read where some people couldnt use the redsox promotion code, as it was sent to select rapid rewards members.
WELL thats not true. and heres why
The people in my house who are rapid rewards members, are myself, DD8 and DD7. We became members a few weeks ago when I booked our flights to El Paso. A week later when I booked DH, DFIL, DBIL and DH'semployee on southwest, I did NOT get him a rapid rewards number.
I received 3 emails- because DD's email address is the same as mine.
The flights I rebooked and saved amost 400 bucks on- was DH DBIL, DFIL and DH's employee NONE Of them are rapid rewards members, and I did NOT click through the email. I opened a browswer window and typed in www.southwest.com
As an FYI- my flights- with myself, DMom, and DD's to el paso- are not cheaper using the code, as we booked at 79 bucks one way originally. Not all flights are eligible, just as with any code, certain restrictions apply etc .
just an fyi
