My understanding is that you get on inside the DL park. Is there more than one Monorail Station? Is there a clearly marked place to get your hand stamped before you get on the monorail? Can you just take a round trip ride, or do you have to disembark someplace, or actually, can you ride on it for an unlimited amount of time(I've ridden around at WDW for an hour or so, just to relax)? And how do you get on the Monorail outside the park to get off in the park-just show your handstamp or park ticket?

You can board the Disneyland monorail either at the station in Tomorrowland or at the station in Downtown Disney. If you board in Tomorrowland, you can (usually) ride it back to that station without having to disembark. (If the crowds are especially big, they may announce that it is a one-way trip to the Downtown Disney station, which means that you'd have to exit and will have to re-board to get back to Tomorrowland in those situations.) If you board the monorail at the Downtown Disney station, you have to disembark in Tomorrowland. Unlike at Walt Disney World, you cannot ride on it for an unlimited amount of time without having to exit after completing the circuit.

If you have not already gotten a handstamp for the day by exiting through the front turnstiles of the park, one will be provided for you as you exit the station in Downtown Disney. You do not need to get one before boarding the monorail. If you are entering Disneyland for the first time that day via the monorail station, a ticket is all you need. If you are returning to Disneyland via the monorail station, you'll need your handstamp and your admission passport.
