? about "The Club Car" Restaurant

Hi,

I am planning a trip in Sept. and am thinking of buying a gift certificate ot The Club Car. Has anyone eaten there? Is it easy to get there from the disnay area? I will be staying off of 192 in the Kissame/St.Cloud area. Thanks in advance for any advice.

the club car is located in the Holiday Inn family suites .. Hope this helps Michelle

Thanks for the help. However, I'm not sure if the lake buena vista area is close to Disney. I don't mind driving a little out of the way if it is a good place to eat. There is a deal on restaurant. com for 70% off but it expires on april 30th.

I personally would NOT drive to the HIFS just to eat at the Club Car. It is really not that good. We stayed at the HIFS for 2 weeks in August and ate there once out of convenience. It was probably our worst meal of the vacation. We are staying there again this year and I bought a $25 GC from restaurant.com on ebay for $7 because I know we will end up eating there again in June. But again, it will be purely for convenience sake. At least I will save money this time.

I totally agree with Mike. It is simply not worth the drive over there, even with a great deal. Club Car is in desperate need of a better menu. Think of the food like standard buffet fare that is at the end of the night and not looking or tasting too great nor fresh.
