Is there storage room under the beds in a standard room at the Poly?

No, there were solid boxes from what I recall - we stored our luggage on the bottom of the closet with no problem since we didn't have any long hanging clothes that went down that far.

speaking of beds at the Poly
I hate to focus on negative but the pics of the beds w/ the bare bottom matress exposed really bug me - can't they throw a bed skirt on those things?
Wondering if it's as bad in person as it looks in pics...

There really was a ton of storage in the closets!. The rooms really are huge compared to other Disney resorts. I don't remember tripping over our suitcases or anything!!
