? about Teva's

I'm in the Buffalo, NY area and am wondering what stores sell Teva's? I'm sorta fussy about sandals and would really like to try on a pair before investing $90 on a pair of shoes. Are they in sporting goods stores like Dick's? department stores? Thanks for your help

I bought my pair at Eastern Mountain Sports (EMS). They're admittedly pretty expensive but I did find mine on sale for about $25-$30 so I got a great deal.

Incidentally, I was a bit wary of wearing these to WDW given the amount of walking. I usually wear sneakers. They are truly the most comfortable experience I've had.

I got mine at REI...not sure if they have any stores near you but I do recommend trying them on before buying since different styles can vary widely. I also ordered several pairs from (I ended up returning them all) www.zappos.com ~ they offer free shipping and free return shipping if you do not find any that you like.

I've been a big fan of Tevas for years!! I've purchased them at Dick's before. Typically you will find these in any store that sells sneakers / outdoor gear.

You can also find them in the L.L. Bean catalog or directly from Teva. Their website is www.teva.com and you could request a catalog. They have a greater selection of fabrics in the catalogs for classic style Tevas, as well as a wide variety of other sandal styles if you're looking to be more fashion forward

I got mine at an outlet mall on a trip to Canada several years ago. I definitely recommend them for Disney. We just got back on Saturday and I wore my jogging sneakers the first day, then switched to my Teva's the second day and wore them the rest of the trip. You don't have to worry if they get wet from rain or rides, and they provide the same kind of traction that sneakers would on wet pavement. You should be able to find some on sale this time of year. I'm a Rainbows fan myself...if you don't know what those are you are not out of the loop. Its mostly an NC thing. Anyway my boyfriend loves Tevas and ordered his from Dicks online just last week. We got them in 5 days and the customer service is great!

I got mine at Sports Authority last year. They were the previous year's style (fully bloomed flowers instead of buds, big deal) so they were deeply discountd. I wore them for a week through Disney and Universal last year and they were great. I did bring some Bodyglide with me and put some on where the staps would fall as a precaution. When we were sloshed on water rides they were wonderful!

Try them on at Dick's Sporting Goods or American Outfitters, I tried them on and them ordered them through www.rei.com for a substantially lower price. If you do a search on the budget board, someone had a discount code for the Teva site also. I love mine and lived in them at WDW (they are the Terra Fi model), but DH got me a pair of Merrells for my birthday and they are incredible, it's like walking on air!

Dicks Sporting Goods has them! Also, I found a pair for my ds at the StrideRite Outlet store! Though, I ordered mine from their website because I had a code! I was pleased with the service, they came very quickly!

Try ebay. There are lots of people selling brand new Tevas for less. I bought a pair last year for $10. They are the only shoes I wear to disney now.

Not sure where you'd find them in Buffalo but wanted to say hi from a former Buffalonian Born and raised in Williamsville. I got mine at Dillard though I don't remember if you have them there. I've also seem them at Rack Room Shoes, but not the better styles of Tevas (I got my son his there but had to order my universals online). Good luck!

Do you have a DSW in your area? There's one at Carousel Center in Syracuse at which I found Tevas for $15 in the Clearance section.

I love my Tevas too. I usually get them at Nordstroms. Today, I saw them at a small non-chain store in my area. And they had the largest variety I have ever seen. Just got 2 new pairs a month ago, so did not need more, but I will have to remember them in the future. They are the best shoes and all I wear at Disney.

I am from Toronto and actually got my Teva flip flops in Buffalo. It was at a discount shoe outlet (I can not remember the name for the life of me). It is that LARGE shoe store filled with tuns of shoes (all "markdowns"--my sister thinks it's called the Shoe Club), but it is in the Walden Galleria. I hope this helps, BTW I had to order some more off TEVA.com.
