? about staying at Saratoga Springs Resort

We are staying at the Saratoga Springs Resort at the end of September and I have an Aunt that lives in the area that wants to come visit us for a few hours or maybe even the night is this something that's possible? do I call the front desk so they can give the front gate their name? or should we just meet off grounds and call it a day...

If it's just the two of you, have her name put on your reservation, that way she'll get the Magic Band and won't have any problem getting through the gate.

You don't state the size of the room you have booked, but as long as you are not at capacity then adding your aunt's name to your room would be the easiest solution if she might stay the night. This also assumes that you have not booked a dining plan. If you decide to add her name, do it now. It can be kind of a mess adding a name after you check in.

Its only me so there will be room and no dining plan so no problem there.....I was just looking for how easy it was to have someone visit you at the resort for the day or even overnight after you check in....Has anyone done this?

It's totally easy. They drive up, show ID, tell the guard that they are visiting a guest and give your name, and they are in. Especially at a place like SSR.

If you can text your aunt your room number once you have it and she can give the gate guard that and your name they will let her in with no other questions. Visiting at SSR is very easy. You may want to ask for a parking pass when you check in so you can put it on her car if she stay overnight but even that won't be a problem.
