Has anyone heard what they are doing for the Lightening Lane replacement theory of the Early Entry benefit for Resort guests? Checking in tomorrow January 5th when I heard it was going into effect ??

This is from the Disneyland website:

• The Lightning Lane entry benefit will be available to eligible Disneyland Resort hotel Guests upon check-in, or shortly after 7:00 AM on your day of arrival if you complete Online Check-In service prior to your day of arrival.
• Link hotel reservations to your MyDisney account in the Disneyland app to view the benefit.
• To redeem, show the in-app Lightning Lane barcode at the eligible attraction of your choosing.
• Eligible attractions are subject to availability and restrictions.

I'll update when we've used it... but if it is just one LL per stay, that's pretty pathetic compared to Early Entry.

From what I have read and what Disney has published it is just 1 per stay. Which is a total slap in the face. We are going later in February. Hope that things change, but I don't think it will.

It's absolutely madness isn't it. Real nicket and dime stuff! you could book a week at $5-7k and there only gonna give you one LL

People were floating that idea when the change in perks was first announced. I'd be interested to hear whether anyone tries that, and if so, what happens.

New Resort LL Benefit in lieu of Early Entry: Day 1 and never figured out how to access it. We had regular LL, so that might have confused things. Average CMs had no clue and green umbrella CMs had 10 people waiting so did not ask them. Almost looks like the main guest Redeems a code to share (but two on our hotel reservation). Maybe we'll sort it out today unless we voided it by accident yesterday. Never got an email or any explanation how to use it. Wish we'd tried on Resistance, but did paid single LL before thought to try it

When you checked in, did you see your purchased LLMP as well as an extra MEP LL as well?

The small print on the website says,

Valid only during the eligible hotel stay, and not valid for Lightning Lane Single Pass attractions.

Limit one eligible attraction entry benefit per reservation and per Guest age 3+ who is a registered Guest on the hotel reservation at time of hotel check-in

I really hope they have empty rooms.... I always stayed in Disneyland at a Disney hotel for the perks and disney bubble... but now I will not unless it is under dvc points but those are hard to get.... it is just not worth the extra cost of disneyland hotel without any meaningful perks when there are soo many other affordable choices around....

where do we complain? As an owner, it feels like a huge slap. Reducing EE to 30 minutes was bad enough. The least they could do is give one MEP PER DAY to cover the 1-2 rides we could get on in that 30 minutes.

We went a few weeks ago and with early entry at Disneyland we did Snow White, pan, Pinocchio and were in line for Mr toad before non hotel guests were even let in.
Then at Cadv we did Spider-Man, guardians and Soarin and were getting breakfast at smoke jumpers by actual opening . Going from that to 1 pass for the week is such a bummer
