??? About Splash Mountain Rehab

According to the schedule Disney posted for this rehab SM is due to re-open the week after we leave for home. In the unlikely event that they finish early and re-open early would they announce it in some manner? If not I guess I'll just have to search for FP+ opening for SM. Not getting my hopes up but I do want to jump on it if it happens.

Most of the time Disney finishes late, not early.

I doubt they would announce it - the FP would probably just become available and it would be taken off the calendar as "closed for refurbishment."
