? about Spiderman height restictions

Okay my son is 39 3/4 in. 40 with shoes,I know at disney TOT bar is set higher then 40 in. I was wondering how accurate the bar is on this ride. Anyone ride this ride with a child who is exactly 40 in.? Just would 'nt be worth it to go if we can't all ride this ride together since both my boys 4,2 1/2 are huge spiderman fans. TIA

I probably shouldn't say this, but my daughter is only 38 inches but with the proper shoes I can get her up to 40 inches to ride the rides she wants to. On Spiderman, I have never had a problem getting her on, even when they measure her.
Now, that differs greatly when we go over to Jimmy Neutron. They measure her at least 4 times and then after they clear her to go in, someone will measure her again when she gets on the actual ride. I think the line on Jimmy Neutron is higher than 40 inches because she clears it fine on Spiderman, but not on Jimmy.
