?? about shuttle from Radisson/Avis to port

The day before our cruise, our flight gets in at 3:30. I am thinking about hanging out in Orlando for a few hours before heading over to Cape Canaveral to the Radisson. We also will have an Avis rental car we will be returning there.

My question is: we want to take the shuttle over to the port early (10:30 or 11) on the day of our cruise. If we wait to go to the Radisson late the evening before, will this affect our time slot choice for the Radisson or Avis shuttle? Not sure how that whole system works if someone could explain.

Dave suggested to us that we keep the Avis car until after DH drops DS & I off at the port in the morning. Then he returns the Avis rental and only has to get himself on a shuttle after returning the Avis car- at this time he'll have the choice of Radisson or Avis shuttle since we are also spending the night before at the Radisson. When we checkin at the Radisson I will have him signed up for a shuttle and he'll end up using whichever is more convenient in the morning. Avis rents in 24hr increments so we are able to keep the car until the morning.
