About referral policy???

Our neighbors just returned from their first ever trip to Disney and are ready to join DVC. We have definitely influenced their decision (without trying to sound like high-pressure salesmen, of course!). But I think they'd be better off going through the resale market (both for price and selection -- I think, given their situation and traveling habits, BWV would be their best home resort). Here's the question (a little selfish, I'm afraid). Do we get any credit for the referral if they buy a resale? (My guess is not, and the answer to my question won't influence my advice to them. I was just wondering.)

The Referral bonus program is offered by DVC and would naturally apply to sales done thru DVC directly. It is not available in all states and there are some restrictions regarding whether the buyer has already contacted DVC.

The DVC offer does not apply to resales.

Sounds like you've done a good job educating your neighbors!

I think that if your neighbors have already talked to DVC and did not mention your name at that time then you wouldn't get the credit from DVC. I'm not sure of all the ins & outs since Connecticut is one of the states that doesn't allow the program.
