I am a newbie on this board and am just learning about the meal vouchers from all of you. Can the dessert you order at Beaches and Cream be an ice cream sundae (NOT the kitchen sink one, obviously)? DH adores ice cream!

It can be any dessert on the menu except the Kitchen Sink, and some of them are very large!

Thanks for fast reply! Sounds like I should get some vouchers. Maybe do a one or two month Hotwire Savings membership and get some PH or PHP tickets and restaurant certificates at the same time...

You're welcome. I used the vouchers for the first time this year (never heard of them before coming to this board despite being a connections member for several years) and it was very easy and worthwhile.

We used the Q & C last March at Beachs and Cream and DID get the kitchen sink with it.

Our family of three did a very poor job of eating it though, I'm afraid.

I saw the "kitchen sink" on Travel Channel. I hope that someone orders it while we are there so I can see it up close and personal. It won't be my DH, if I can help it. He would probably make a valiant effort at finishing it all by himself!

A family of 6 ordered it at the next table when we were there. The didn't finish it. It was large, but not as large as I expected with all the hype here.

But believe me, the other desserts will be plenty to share.

Just checked out the menu at wdwig and I think there's a mud slide with my name on it.

The banana splits are my favorite! (3 of us share one) There is also one with a milky way candy bar in it, forget the name...we saved the candy bar for later! We didn't make a dent in that one, it was too rich!

We have used the vouchers at B&C many times.

I dream about the Fudge Mud Slide!

We used Q&C's and did get the kitchen sink before they stopped it. It is nice to do once but very messy. We prefer the mud slide!

We used our vouchers and B&C. It's a very good value. The no way jose is the best.

We have gotten the No Way Jose and the banana splits with them.. we used two vouchers for four people (2 adults, 2 kids), and we always had ice cream left over as well.
