Can I purchase AP's at the Disney Store and get my DVC discount or is it at the gate or online only?

No, you can not buy them at the Disney Store. Only on the DVC member website, the parks, or DtD. You can also order a voucher through Member Services.

I don't believe the Disney Stores are selling any AP's since The Children's Place buyout, except in Florida.

I bought my AP's last year after the buyout at the Disney store and got the DVC discount applied when I went in May to WDW. It didn't have them with the other tickets, I had to ask the cashier, and they don't give the DVC discount, but they had them. Of course, it is also necessary to recognize that I bought it shortly after the acquisition so some of the policies may have been in flux. I think the easiest thing to do is just ask a clerk. If they don't have them, then you know. Even if they do have them, you will not get the DVC discount but that is easily redeemed at the parks.

The Children's Place buyout was in November, I believe they stopped selling AP's when the MYW passes were rolled out at the beginning of the year.

That would explain it then. Thanks.

Alicat, I see you're in NJ, THE DISNEY STORE on 5th and 55th in NYC may sell them. I know you can buy 5 day passes in there as I've seen them on display. I'm not 100% sure if they sell annual passes, but it might be worth a phone call to check it out.
