How bad will the POP buses be the week proceeding Easter? Will it be terrrible. We will not get a car unless we stay offsite. Sometimes I wonder if a car and an nearby offsite hotel would be better at that peak holiday time.

not really - because WDW can and does once the parking lot is full - close to offsite guest.

would expect at least the MK to be full a couple of days in both (palm - your week) and easter week.

Personally I would tell you that you should expect some waiting times.. We've been to Pop 4 times, most recently coming back Saturday and I think its more crowded every time we go.. The buses were my main complaint.. One night coming back from MK we waited in line 35 minutes which isnt bad in itself but to paint a picture of how many people were in line.. they were bringing 3 buses at a time every 5-7 minutes Id say and they were packing them like sardines.. and it still took 35 minutes to get to the front.. and we were supposed to be going when things were supposed to be slow..

If you know what to expect things dont get as irritating.. just go thinking there will be some wait times and if there isnt, than all the better for you..

The Pop buses sucked last week during the alleged slow season so Easter should be miserable for Pop busing anyway.

In contrast, we stayed at AS Sports during Thanksgiving week and only had to stand on one bus. At Pop last week we had to stand on every freaking bus ride regardless of time. There were so many people packed on each bus that it felt like we were on a bus trek across India.

Renting a car and staying offsite is not really the best solution. As mentioned, the parks at busy times can close the parking lots (the first stage of closing).

We've never had a problem with Pop Century's buses. I think your solution will need to be a positive attitude and adding in a bit of transportation time.

We've stayed at POP 9 times now and never had a problem with the buses. The only time we've had to wait very long was once when the bus filled up and we had to wait for the next one. That was for rope drop at MK, but we were late getting to the bus stop, so who's fault was that!

I would certainly not drive. It takes longer to get to the parking lot than it does to wait on the bus.

Have a great trip!!
