? about parking @ HH Beach House

We are driving down to HH in 2 weeks. Can you drive down to the Beach House and park there? This will make my decision about whether we should bring our own beach chairs or not. Thanks for your help.

Yes, you can park at the beach house. Depending on the time of day that you venture to the beach, you may have a problem finding a spot. The earlier/later you go, the less people will be there so that increases your chances. They have some parking underground but most of it is outside in a small lot.

They have a shuttle that runs back and forth, right? Could you conceivably bring chairs on the shuttle bus? I wouldn't think it would be too much more of a hassle than bringing a stroller on the WDW Transportation buses!!!!

The shuttle is actually a van so it would be difficult to carry on chairs especially if there is anyone else on the van too. We went to the Beach House early between 9 and 10 am. and never found it to be crowded. The parking lot was empty and we were usually the only ones in the pool. One day we took the shuttle over around 2 p.m. and the parking lot was full.

Luv2Dream - Please let me know how the drive is from Mass. to HH. We'll be making the trip in September. Are you driving straight through or staying over somewhere? We have a 3 yr. old and a 4 mo. old and I'm in favor of just getting there, but others have told us to stop overnight.

Thanks for the tips. Unless we get there early, I'll just have DH drive us down, we can unload, and he can drive back and take the shuttle back. That plan works. I really like to have beach chairs at the beach that are comfortable, and an umbrella. Thanks for the help folks!
