? about park tickets...

Hi all! We recently returned from our Disney trip, we have 2, five day park hopper tickets, each w/ a day left on it. My brother and his wife live local, can I give them these tickets to use? I know they never expire, but can anyone use them? One of the passes is my daughters, can DB just pay to upgrade it to an adult ticket?
Any info is appreciated!

Disney tickets are nontransferrable. There is no way to tell, however, who the hopper passes originally belonged to, though.

Thanks! I suppose they are non transferrable so people can't resell partially used passes?
