? about packages and non-expiration tickets

I am thinking about buying a package for 6 nts. but buying tickets for 10 days and adding the non expiration on it and using the other half of the tickets for our next trip. Has anyone done this or do you know if this is allowed?

You're right, as long as you add the no expiration option, you can use any unused days on your next trip! This is what we did for our last trip...and it makes it really easy to plan another trip when you don't have to figure in ticket prices!!

Works perfectly.

If the leftover passes are too short for the second vacation it is usually better to buy all new long non-expiring passes for the second vacation and use the remains of both the first and second passes (and not use any new passes) for the third vacation.

I found out the more days you buy, the cheaper it is per day, too. Makes sense to buy a 10 day-no expire if you ever plan to go back.

Just make sure to keep them in a safe place. You wouldn't want to loose them.

Definitely Go With The 10 Day No Expiration....you Can Use The Unused Days Whenever You Go Back! I Just Cashed In 2 Days Of My Non-expiring When I Bought An Annual...they Give You The Price Of The Unused Portion At The Day Of Purchase....so, I Probably Lost A Dollar Or Two, But Now We Belong To Dvc And Plan On At Least Three Trips A Year!

I think the answer is yes, but you need to do it before the tickets expire. Also, you need to pay the full amount that it would cost to add the never expire option based on the number of days of your ORIGINAL ticket. In other words, you need to pay the amount for a 10-day never expire, or $100. You don't get to pay the lesser amount for a 3-day never expire.

Still, it's a great deal, particularly if your base ticket has park hopping. When are you ever going to buy a 3-day never expire hopper for $100, which is essentially what you'd be doing.

Thanks for the info I just can't refuse a good deal so I will buy 10 day tickets for everyone w/park hopper and no expiration.
