? about MNSSHP

During our upcoming October trip, we'll be spending Sunday, Oct 16 in the MK. That is a night that MNSSHP is scheduled although we won't be attending the party that night (we're going later in the week). That day will be my DS's 6th birthday and I'm planning a special day for him. My question is:

What time should we plan on heading out of the MK if we aren't attending MNSSHP?

I'm asking because DS wanted to eat at CP the night of his birthday but I'm thinking that this might not be a good plan since we aren't staying for the Halloween party.

Do MK guests have to leave the park by a certain time if they are participating in MNSSHP?

They essentially close the park down between 6 and 7 pm to prepare for MNSSHP. Those with wristbands head to tommorrowland to wait and those without head to the gates. Hope this helps!

I believe the last PS at CP is 5:50. You could get a PS and then leave after that.
