??? about making changes to reservation

Not for sure if this is the right place for this or not, but I figured it was worth a shot.

Right now we are booked for our stay, park tickets and the dining plan for Jan 2006. Due to new budget issues we are thinking of taking the dining plan off. What if by some wonderful chance free dining is offered during that time, would we still be elgibile if we were not booked for it at that time?? Would I just call and say that I see that free dining is being offered and I would like to upgrade to having it or how would that work?
Wanting to know before I take the dining plan off of our reservation.

If free dining is offered you will need to buy a package and pay rack rates for your room.You must buy at least a one day park ticket for each person in the room and then ask for the free dining to be included.Also you may need to change resorts because there are only a certain number of rooms with free dining avalible.
I had to change from ALL Star Movies to All Star Music to get the free dining.

So as long as I leave my park tickets and room reservations alone, I should be okay? I had planned on leaving those and if the free dining is offered great, if not we will do without the dining plan.
I figured I may have to move hotels.
