? about making ADR for MNSSHP

I know you can make ADRs for some restaurants in MK even before the 90 day window. I just got LTT for 6:20 pm. I asked the CM to check CRT dinner and she said she could not get into that one or Crystal palace before the 90 day window. Does that make sense to you? I would think she could access them ALL before the 90 day mark. I am skeptical cuz whn I called to make the ADR, she didn't even know that she could do it for LTT or Tony's...I had to kind of guide her along. The only reason I knew was cuz of these boards...I am so grateful for all the tips I get fron ya'll!

Anyway...is 6:20 a bit too late for dinner before MNSSHP? It seems like it to me. I think I may have to cancel that ADR. But why can she not check CRT or CP? Thanks!

I think it is only a select few, like LTT and Tony's that you can make before the 90 day window. The rest you do have to make at the 90 day window or later.

I was in your shoes too and couldn't get early times for LTT or Tony's so I waited till my 90 days out and got CP for 4:05......one note too is I saw someone else post that they had a PS for LTT for MNSSHP at a later time but when they called on their 90 day out they got an earlier time. I think they must open earlier times at the 90 day mark. I wish I had read about it earlier, I may of tried for LTT again. You may wanna try LTT at your 90 day again!

Thanks kizmac...that actually makes sense! I will definitely try on my 90 day out mark. Nice to hear from someone who had the smae issue and got it resolved. I would LOVE a 4 pm ADR!!!!

we had a LTT ressie at 6:40 on 10/7. today was our 90 day window and we called and had our choice. I picked 4:30pm over 4pm only because I don't want to be late and dd may nap. However, I had my choice so that was nice to know. I think they hold some ressies open for people NOT going to MNSSHP and looking to get ressies 90 days out. If you still don't get it your 90 day out day, try again your 45 day out day when some people might cancel their reservations and openings might appear. I was planning on booking CRT for dinner if we didn't get LTT. Personally I rather eat at CRT's but I know dd loves Minnie and LTT will be fun!!!

For those of you making PS and entering with ONLY your party ticket, be sure you allow time to get to the restaurant from the gate when they start letting you in at 4:00p. If you make your PS at 4:00p and plan on only getting in with your party ticket, you won't make it.

So if you are entering with only your party ticket (and not a park pass) be sure and make your PS/AR no earlier then 4:30p.

Regarding getting PS before the 90 mark, for several years they've been offering LTT only before the 90 mark. Its a special dining package. Well, this year they added Tony's as well to be booked early. These 2 are also the only 2 restaurants open DURING the party. Crystal Palace, the Castle and the Plaza will take PS at 90 days but only times up until the park closes at 6:00p.

suzanne-yeah, I am torn between CRT or LTT. I have only had breakfast at the castle, so I have not eaten dinner at either location. So good to know you got a better time at the 90 day mark! thanks for sharing!

beatty-fortunately, I do have a seasonal pass, so I can get into the park at whatever time we choose. I did not know that CRT, CP and plaza closed at 6pm. Thanks for the info!

Some people will cancel their LTT and get a PS for a different restaurant at the 90-day mark as well, if you really want LTT, try calling at the 90-day mark, or a day later.

I was just wondering where you heard this? If this is true, I'll have to be changing my ADR. I think they'll have a lot of disgruntled party goers if they changed it to 5 pm.

For the past few years they have let party goers in after 4:00p with just their ticket, no ADR necessary.

Yes, they'll be counter services open up until 6:00p and then from 6:00p to 7:00p only Cosmic Rays will be open. Then at 7:00p the counter services will re-open. They do that so they can better clear out the park.

If they continue the trend, they you should be able to enter after 4:00p with just your party ticket.
