??? About Magic Bands w/two reservations

Because flights were outrageous when we originally planned to fly, we ended up booking flights for the night before & getting a room-only reservation for 1 night at All Star Sports. We won't arrive until after midnight, so I see no need to get Magic Bands for this night (since we'll check out of Sports and into AKL Friday morning).

I did order Magic Bands for AKL. I guess I want to make sure nothing will get screwed up using KTTW cards at Sports, then Magic Bands at AKL. They are different reservations, after all. Just covering my bases.

Also, will the Bands be sent to me, or will I just get them when I check in?

Did you log-in to MDE and customize your bands? There's a date that you have to do so by and then they are shipped to you.

My daughter and I just returned Thursday night and I can tell you how it worked for us. I had rented DVC points and ended up with two different ressies for the same room type (AKL savannah view at Jambo House). We received 2 sets of magic bands - one for each reservation. Then I decided to add an additional day but AKL was booked solid so I ended up at Pop for a night and received yet one more set of bands. And at the last moment, my 7 year old got a 4th magic band. So in the end, I had 3 bands and my daughter had 4. When we checked in at Pop, they were able to make one band for each of us primary and were also able to do it at AKL. Then end result was we only ever needed one band - they just programmed them when we checked in. Have a wonderful time!
