? about luggage transfer to ship

We are doing the land/sea package in May. Since we are driving to WDW, we would also like to drive our car to the ship. Will we transport our own luggage from our hotel, or will we check our luggage for the cruise portion at the hotel when we check out? Does that make sense?

I believe DCL will only take your luggage from a WDW hotel if you have purchased their transfers....but I am not 100% sure.

If that is the case then you bring your own luggage with you and then check it with a porter at the port.

As I said...I am not 100% sure that they will take your luggage without transfers but maybe another poster will know.

I've heard, too that you can pay a $25.00 fee to have your bags shuttled down to the port without you.....

Don't know if they do this any more.....
