? about Le Cellier kids menu and DDP

We have a ressie for Le Cellier (for lunch, to use 1ts) and I noticed on the kids menu (they get 1 app, 1 entree, 1 drink, 1 dessert) however under entrees it says french fries available upon request...does their "meal" not come with a side?? Bad enough the kids steak costs 2.00 extra..if it's on the kids menu it shouldn't BE extra..thanks for any help!

The only thing I can comment on is that on the DDP you won't have to pay $2 extra for the steak. I'm not sure what type of "side" is on the plate.

When we were there for the kid picks part of the menu they just served the kids appetizer as the side. We had to request the soup be brought out earlier once we realized what was happening but then both kids plates came out with carrot and celery sticks as the side even though 1 had had soup too. Unless you ask for fries it will be a veggie at least all the times we ate there. Occasionally the veggie was corn (off the cob) which my kids liked but there has also been yuck canned looking green beans. Most recently though it's been the carrot and celery.
