??? about HRH - rooms and cabanas requests

Hi!

I just booked our Apr 07 trip and I have a few question about the HRH.

I booked pool view (got AAA rate!) and I was wondering if anyone could recommend a great room? We stayed at the RPH last year and had a garden view room (view of the front lobby) and it was the the furtherest room from the elevators. I would like to make sure we get something closer to the elevators and have a view of the pool not the water taxis....

Do they really allow dogs to stay in the room? Can you request a room that is non-pet or do they allow the animals to stay in any room and clean it really well after they leave...

How far in advance can you call and request a specific room?

When can you book the cabanas? Do you have to wait until that day? Is it easy to get one? Has anyone ever had problems with people taking chairs from your cabana? From some of the pictures of 7-10 it looks like it is pretty close to the pool and I was wondering if you really have room in front of the cabana?

We love room 6090. It has a view of the pool and parks and is close to the elevators. It is not in a "pet wing".

You can book a cabana once you have a reservation# (I believe). Some are more popular than others, therefore may be harder to get during busy times. We booked #10 in June, and there were some people in it when we got there, but they quickly left. Someone from our party was there througout the rest of the day, so we didn't have a problem with people taking chairs. There was room in front of the caban for quite a few other chairs (since we had about 18 people in our party).

I would call the hotel directly (407)503-2000 about 2-4 weeks in advance of the trip and ask for the room you want.
