? about haircut in MK

I have a 5-year-old boy and was wondering what the cost of a haircut is at the Magic Kingdom. Also do you call and make an appointment or just walk in when you get there?

Is this something worth doing to should I just get it cut before we leave home?

I don't remember the cost off the top of my head, but you don't need an appointment. Both of my boys have had their hair cut in the Magic Kingdom and my youngest son had his first ever haircut there. Just walk in and see how long the wait is.

It is 14 for kids and 17 for adults. The pixie dust and coloring are included if you want them. It is definately worth trying.

Do it. I go everytime I'm there. My son had his first one there last year. We're both getting one this week when we go.

Ask them to paint a Mickey head on his. It's cool.

The castmembers are great at the barbershop. My husband usually waits when a trip is coming up to get his haircut there. The wait is fairly short. Last month we went early in the morning and waited about 15 minutes. I even left with a head full of glitter that I was not expecting.

I wouldn't count on it though. There have been reports about some getting "free" pixie dust, but those were usually with others who did get a haircut.

Thanks to all that have replied. I think this will be added to my to do list. My 5-year-old son would love it. I was just worried it would cost way to much but 14 is a reaonable price.
