? about Getawaytoday tickets

We just ordered our parkhoppers, Disneyland Express transportation to and from the airport, and our character breakfast last night from Getawaytoday.com. I understand they send us vouchers for the parkhoppers. I'm just curious once we trade those in are we given paper tickets or are they like plastic credit card type things? I just remember our parkhoppers from last year were pretty rugged by the end of our trip last year, thought maybe they had improved.

Yes, you'll be given paper tickets not plastic ones. However, it's a pretty durable type of paper and holds up well under heavy use. We used GetAwayToday to purchase tickets because that's the only place we could find that sold 8 day park hoppers without having to purchase a package.

Getawaytoday doesn't send you a voucher for your DLR tickets. It is done electronically like and e-ticket for the airline. You go to the ticket window, show your driver's license and get your tickets. Ours were paper.
GAT only sends you a voucher for your hotel if you arranged that through them.

Is it the same with a vacation package from Alaska. Do they send you e tickets and then you turn them in at the ticket window?

I have only used WDT in the past and this is the first time for Alaska. We couldn't get the flight times we needed for WDT.

How do you order the character breakfasts from them for a discount? I have looked and looked on their website and must be really dumb because I cannot find it.

Any travel agent can get 8 day hoppers without getting a package directly through Disney. I just ordered 8 day hoppers for some clients/friends of mine, and was able to add anything I wanted along with them, or just get the tickets. They do charge a small shipping charge, but they are delivered right to you, and you don't have to exchange them once you are there.

This is how to get to dining ..........go to tickets from main page........disneyland............then on the ticket page there is a pull down that says attrations , pull that down and you will see dining........hope that helps

The only thing to remember is if you are purchasing discounted character meals and getting print-out receipts, you'll have to go to a certain place near the entrance, get in line(if there is any) and exchange them for actual vouchers.

Thanks for telling me where to look for the dining tickets! But the price they list for Ariel's dinner is different from price Disney dining told me. At DD they quoted me the same price as Goofy's dinner for Ariel's dinner. Is getaway pretty accurate? Just wondering why the regular price listed is almost $10 cheaper than Disney dining said.
