we just took advantage of free dining :cool1: WE want to go back if it is offered again next year. My question is how many days is it offered I know we had it our length of stay but is there a limit of how many days. we are thinking maybe a 10 day trip next year would we get 10 days free dining (if it is offered)?

Sorry I can´t offer any advice, I was just wondering how early they announced free dining this year?

The limit for MYW packages offered to American residents has been 10 days. I haven't read anything indicating that that will change.

The MYW package with free dining promotion was made available around April 1, 2006 for hurricane season 2006.

If free dining is offered again, there could be a minimum stay/park ticket requirement similar to the promo for UK residents - the current requirement is minimum 5 nights/5 day park ticket. As for maximum nights - in '07 you can book a package for up to 14 nights.

I don't know if you were trying to be funny, but I got quite a chuckle about the way you listed the free dining promotion - for hurricane season 2006. This was the first year for us that there was not a hurricane milling around somewhere!

When the UK "free DDP" package first came out, I did a "little" $$$ conversion. The package they were offered was not all that fantastic. So please someone help me do the math again. I didn't think it was all that cheap compares to what the US residents are paying w/o the dining plan being free.

I wasn't really trying to be funny, but rather just trying to provide fair warning. Folks should realize that the promotion is deliberately only offered during the time of year folks eschew visits to Florida due to the chance of disruption of your vacation from bad weather.

Hi Bicker,
I agreed with you on your takes about the weather being a hugh role in pricing. My family tends to our vacations in peak season because the weather's always better. But since DS joined the school marching band(Summer Camp), our planning has to be adjusted accordingly.

For us the better prices and the low crowds is worth the worry about hurricanes. If WDW were on one of the coasts, I would be much more concerned.

Since someone said the free dining was a hurricane promotion and we had only one hurricane to reach land this year do you think they will offer it again in 2007?
