I have been on this board for over 2 years. I am surprised at the variety in Doc arrival times for cruisers on the same cruise date. On our cruise for 3/15 people who did not use Dreams have docs or they are arriving. Fellow cruiser Padre Disney was told DCL hasn't printed them. Other people who have used Dreams on past cruises have had their docs way early, up to 8 weeks. Anyone out there have a guess to why the variety in doc arrival? I doubt it has anything to do with the TA involved. Is it because of Spring Break? We did not use DCL air and we still received ours at the usual 6 week out period. Normally we use DCL air and we still got them 6 weeks out. Padre Disney has no air. I guess I don't understand how someone who booked so long ago still doesn't have docs. Yes I know they can pick them up at the port but I thought that was for people who booked really late. Any ideas on why? Kathy

We booked on board last year and then changed to DU. We are driving this time so we don't have air. No document yet. I just emailed DU and will let you know what they say. Last year we booked direct with DCL less than 6 weeks out and the documents came a week or two later so that is nothing to judge by.

Not sure if this is going to help, but when my DW called and made our ressies in November for our August 2003 cruise, she was told that we would receive our docs about "3 weeks" before our cruise.

It is so interesting reading all the different doc arrival times. I also have been following the post of "Who has recently received cruise docs?" There is no rhyme or reason that I can figure out. Doesn't matter who you book through, if their is DCL air or what type of room. We have always received them about 6 weeks out, this is the first time without air. The other times we had two cat. 6' and this time we have one cat. 3. We still got them 6 weeks out. We booked this cruise almost 2 years ago and one previous cruise was booked a little over 6 mo. out. It is just interesting. Kathy

Just received my response from DU. They said my documents had not been printed yet , should receive them 3-6 weeks before sailing. I guess since we are within 6 weeks should be any time now.
