? about Disney Visa Meet and Greet

When we went in Nov we only had about 15 familys in front of us and we waited and waited and waited they moved sooo slow after about 1/2 hour of only moving forward one or two spots we left. I didnt think it was worth the amount of time we were giving up. I might try it if we went in Jan or Feb when the parks are a lot slower. I think they need to do a reservation system so you have a time frame at wich you can get it done JMO!

I read you have to sign up for this not just show up. I wa shoping to just show up!! Can you all validate jsut showing up?

There is nowhere to sign up....just get in line. If you don't want to wait for a lot of people ahead of you then get in line before 1:30 so you're among the first to go inside. I didn't do this the first time, and while I don't remember how long we waited in line, the kids kept running off to different exhibits in the building, and then running back to see what progress I'd made moving up. I surfed the Internet on my phone, lol.

The thing is that they don't limit your time with the characters and yes, sometimes people take a long time in there. But...in our defense :rotfl2: it's also very easy to lose track of time when your kids are literally dancing and playing with Mickey and friends! I videotaped our first visit knowing that we were getting the Photopass CD plus the free VISA photo, I figured I didn't need to worry about taking pictures, so I took video. Ummmm, please don't anyone hate me.....when we got home and watched it the timer thingy shows it was 12 minutes! Oh Lordy, I swear it felt like 2-3 minutes not 12!! And never once did the characters, handlers or Photographer seem to be trying to end the session. The Photographer took over 50 photos (it was hard choosing just one for the free print, thank heavens they are all on my CD).

So....I would advise getting in line about 1pm so that you're among the first, then it won't be a big deal if the families in front of you also lose track of time!

As for picking it up....we left there and went to WS...then on the way out that evening we picked up our free print. I didn't want to carry it around with me and damage it, and the wait wasn't too bad, I think 4-5 people maybe...we were well within the line ropes when we started. I imagine the line gets busier the closer to closing of course, but we left as it was getting dark that evening.

We went back again during our trip and that video shows only 4 minutes, but it was the same characters as the week before, so that was disappointing. They wouldn't tell us who was inside when we were in line....I understand that because characters come and go they don't want to tell you, but we'd have probably not done it again for the same ones. I think next time I'll tell the lady who we saw the first time and ask if anyone different is in there right now, knowing it could change. Not sure if she'd tell me, but I can hope!

I think I confused the Visa meet and greetand AAAstorytime. You have to sign up for Storytime. Sorry!!

yes you can go once a day! And if you and your husband has 2 different card numbers.. you can get 2 prints!
