We had Sunny and Giorgio on the Magic in October. We liked them so much. We added our business card to the Thank you notes with the tips and phone cards. We told them to look us up if they were ever that far north.

Giorgio was headed our way near Thanksgiving and actually called DH at work!

We loved them so much. We were seated with the table mates from H***! And as much time as it took to care for them, we never felt slighted in the least by Sunny and Giorgio! They seemed to make up to us how horrible the other people were to them.

I would ask for them again if I could!

yea our servers were so cool. they were always making jokes and just having a great time. we didnt have table mates because 8 people went with us so we got a table for 8. in the middle of the week Andrea lost her voice but she still came and did her job which was very nice. when i was on the ship i saw andrea and i said hi and she said hi to!! then, my sister saw mark one day and he actually came up to her and said hi it was nice. and when andrea lost her voice mark was joking about how happy he was and saying "thank god she lost her voice!!" lol.

We were on the March 16th cruise and we had Ellen from Australia and Daniele from Italy. They were teriffic!!!! Great service and very friendly.

We had Dennis and Wisanu on the Magic. Wisanu was very good, Dennis was fantastic! By the third night, he knew what we all wanted to drink and sometimes even had them for us without us even ordering. Simply unbeatable.

Gotta tell you what happened one night:

DW just didn't find anything that particularly met her fancy on the menu. She was in a "meat and potatoes" kinda mood. She asked if she could get a simple chicken breast, with mashed potatoes and gravy. There was nothing remotely resembling this on the menu!! 15 minutes later, a gorgeous plate of grilled chicken breast, creamy mashed potatoes and delicious gravy was placed in front of her! I was indeed impressed. Never expected them to come through to that degree. She says it was one of the most enjoyable meals she had all week. You can't beat service like that - just outstanding.

THANKS DENNIS!! :)

as i said my servers were mark and andrea. i loved andrea but i even liked mark more!! he also knew our drinks by the 3rd night but when we came on the 2nd night i had ordered a sprite the night before (that is also what i had every night lol!!) he said a sprite, right even on the 2nd night!! then he started to have the drinks behind that area they stay at and they were right there. it was funny becase one night all 6 adults went to palo so it was just me and my sister there by ourselves!! he and andrea treated so well and they were always there talking to us. also, every night my sister would order a pina colada after her meal and he would say, " ready for your pina colada!" it was very cool. also, i never knew what to get because i am a very pickie eater!! andrea kinda by the 2nd or 3rd night could tell and she told me what i would probably like and she was right every night!!! i loved all my meals epescially the beef teriaki!! then, my parents didnt get back on the boat from st. martin as we were going to dinner so they said they would get ready and come down for the dessert. when they got down there for dessert, andrea and mark wouldnt except that and in like 2 minutes they brought out the beef teriaki for both of them!! they both said that it was there best meal of the whole cruise!! now that is wat i call service!!!!!:jester:

I have a different type of server story to tell. We took our twins for their 3rd Birthday's on the 7 day cruise March 2001. Their b-days fell on the 2nd day of the cruise. DH and the kids were so wiped out from traveling and the time change we didn't make it to our regular dining rotation (and it was formal night). I saw on the navigator that there was open seating at Topsiders, so we took a chance. The food was just as terrific as in the dining room and they have a kids menu. Well, when the server came to take our dessert order I explained that today was the kids b-days and we missed regular dining and they will miss out on the birthday cake. She said she would see what she could do. She came back 5 minutes later with a Happy Anniversary cake (hey they're only 3-they can't read!) and she had all the servers come over and sing Happy Birthday to them!!! DH happened to have his wallet on him, so I had him slip her a few $$ for the effort. Goes to show you, even the nonregular servers go out of their way!

that sounds so nice!! who were your regular servers? were they nice?? when we were on it was our friends aniversery so, a bunch of the servers came over and sang "happy aniversery" to them. it was cute. everyone keep writing!!!:bounce: :jester: :smooth:
