I think I probably already know the answer to this, but I thought I would ask anyway. Do you have to eat your dessert right after the meal or can you save it for later? In other words, let's say you eat a big meal and don't have room for dessert, can you save it for later and get your dessert at an ice cream cart for example? Has anyone tried this?

For some of the counter service desserts likes cookies we could take with us. One day we were in Typhoon Lagoon and they said that we could save our dessert (ice cream) for later. They gave us a token and told us to come back to the counter when we wanted it. That worked out great. As for table service I never asked for a "to go" box. We always tried to save a bit of room for the dessert. It was hard.

Hope this helps. :)

You can order dessert and and take it with you, but you can't come back and get dessert later.

Yes-you can take dessert to go. My mom and I did it Jan. 2005 without a problem. Don't forget to eat it though-we did throw away several partily eaten desserts-such a waste! One thing I found out since we went in January-the plan was new then-there was some confusion. We didn't know that we could order an appetizer with the Kid's meal. Also, counter service meals include desserts also. This time we will be picking our counter service based on who has dessert. With all this food (we'll have 18 table and counter service credits) we will be splitting meals so as not to waste food and to allow us to "bank" credits for a special meal at California Grill. Table service allows splitting (appetizer, entree, and dessert is just too much to eat sometimes.) It was explained to us that the total credits dedcuted are based on number of beverages ordered. We had a slight problem at Spoodles-the waiter knew we were sharing, however, he made an error on the bill and listed 2 ice teas-he said this wouldn't matter-WRONG!. After I discovered the error I spoke to the Spoodles manager (Mark, I think) and he called our front desk and had the problem corrected. Be sure to check your remaining credits. On this trip we will most likely be ordering 2 meals to share between 2 adults and 1 (small eater) 6 year old. We did have unused snack credits left-we treated a father and son I approached in the food court and offered them free ice cream-no strings! After some reluctance-they agreed to it. Even then, we still had unused snack credits. Have a great time-good eating! 64 days and counting
