? about coinstar and disney cards?

Can I get the disneystore giftcard from coinstar (that way counting the coins is free) and use it online at disneystore.com to buy a WDW giftcard that I can use at the parks? Has anyone tried this?

I thought of that too, but the answer is no. If you put a gift card in your shopping cart and proceed to the check out, the place to input a gift certificate/gift card number is grayed out. They will only accept payment by credit card (maybe PayPal...don't use it so I don't pay attention) for gift card purchases.

This was over a year ago so it might have changed, but I doubt it.

Yes. The WoD takes the Disney GCs.

It depends on the store. Theoretically, GCs cannot be used to purchase cash "or its equivalent". But some DISers have reported that they have been successful in making the exchange.
