About children under 3?

I see a lot of posts about sharing food on the dining plan with kids under 3.

If you are NOT on the dining plan, what happens with your child under 3? Are you supposed to only share your food? Do you get a child's meal free? How does it work?

At buffet and family style places, kids under 3 eat free.

At counter service places and sit down restaurants where you order off a menu, you can either let them eat of your plate or you can order a kids meal for them. If you order a kids meal, you will have to pay for it.

yes that is correct at buffets the child will eat free but at any of the TS we did we just fed our DD off of all of our plates. Usually we fed her off of DD4's plate as she doesn't eat much at all. Between appetizers, main course and dessert there is plenty of food to go around..Also at the TS restaurants they always gave her a cup of whole milk for free.

No..you do not get a childs meal free. They have to eat from your plate..(for free), or you can order a childs meal for them and pay. We have done this both ways with our grand daughter depending on what everyone at table is having.
