I hope this is not a stupid question.....but what is it? I read a little about it from RayS.'s post but have had a flu the last day or so and think my brain is still not back where it belongs-aka fuzzy! Is it something that I could take the DCherubs to watch? Do you rec. a dinner package? Is there seating for this or is it like Illuminations where everyone sits/stands whereever? Thanks for any and all help and pixie dust to all.....

You can do a dinner package, and if you do, you get reserved seating. There is also a stand by line, but you have to get in that VERY early and wait a long time for a possible seat. There is also some standing room outside the amphitheater on the walkway in front of American Adventure. It is a very moving beautiful Christmas pageant type production. They have chorus members from visiting high schools perform with WDW singers. Besides great Christmas music arrangements, there is a naration of the CHristmas story by a guest celebrity. A definate must see at least once!

Here is a good rundown on it to add to what Diane wrote. http://wdwig.com/h_cpfaq.htm I have attended it every year since '99 and will again this year, always with the dinner package. It is a 'must see' if there during the holiday season. I do have some pictures from it in the link I have in my signature.

It truly brings to you heart the spirit of the season. The first time we attended was in 1999 on Christmas Eve. I cannot describe what it was like - it was so magical and just really brought the season to us. Being from the more northern sections of the country - it was very hard for us to comprehend being there at Christmas and there was no snow and then also missing our church service on Christmas Eve. This helped so much bring that feeling into our hearts and eased that missing of home for the holidays.

I'm counting the days until I plan to attend...Dec 24 2003...my 40th birthday...I can't think of a more wonderful celebration.....

I didn't attend last year because I wanted it to be with my kids...

Hiya

I have to say go see this if you can :)

I was lucky enough to sing in one of the shows in 2000. I'm not sure of the date now, basically I joined the CM choir to participate but then left WDW on Dec 7th and so only got to be in one showing.

I'd be interested (and amused!) to know if it was the one Dan saw that year!!

We had James Avery narrating - he was really great and the show was just so much fun and I'm sure looked beautiful. A lot of work goes into it and it definitely made me and my fellow UK CM's feel part of the 'holiday season' :)

You'll all love it I'm sure!!

Cya,
Gaspode

Thanks for all of your replies and suggestions.....think I will book a dinner package as we had planned on eating in EPCOT several nights anyhow. I will look at Deb's site and pictures offered as well!

Pixie dust to all.....
