the group of 50 Brazilian Cheerleaders who were new moms pushing strollers (the triplet type of stroller)

They owned the place and were not removed until they had mowed down Goofy and pushed Mickey into the moat!!!!

Awful!!

Wonderful!!!!!!!

You made my day.:p

QUOTE]You should be able to hear the monologue during the ride. That is pretty loud and rude.[/QUOTE]

Agreed, but the offensive singing and chatting was while the group was in line, not on the ride itself.

Sometimes I wonder if Singapore is on to something...

I don't.

Quiet singing wouldn't be a problem.

Come to think about it, I don't think they should allow talking at all while standing in line. I'd say soft whispering would be ok, but you know how people are, the first thing you know someone would be talking in a normal voice and well...there ya' go..my trip would be shot! Whistling should definitely be against the rules as well as laughing. There's just nothing more irritating than loud, joyous laughter!! Especially when I'm trying to concentrate on how much other people are invading on my peace and quiet!!! And crying babies and young children....please, nothing is more irritating. I think we should ban babies and kids altogether. You never know when they're going to start screaming at an ear piercing level and ruin my entire trip! Besides, if you ban kids, you kill two birds with one stone...no crying and no strollers!!

Cheers to EpcotLady, awatt and Campingbuddy...I couldn't agree more!

Not trying to rain on the venting parade here, but I think we have strayed far from a Resort topic. I clicked on this originally to see if Brazilian tour groups stayed in a particular resort, allowing m to plan for it, if need be. It has pretty much disintegrated into a "here's who I hate the most at WDW." I know people can be rude and annoying, but I was really hoping for some info, not a *itch session. Hoping this thread can get back on track...

Zula,

It is obvious that you are a Brazilian, cheerleading, stroller-using collaborator. :)

Why else would you want to stop this informative and critical post. Of course it relates to "Resorts" because......give me a sec.......

What really really makes me stay away from brazilian tourist months is the fact that they sing out so loud while holding those flags and making people to get out of their way by making us think they are a disney attraction. They use this by getting ahead in lines and pathways. Of course, they will say they just do this so they all can stay together.

I believe all this is planned before they come just like all the planning that goes into disney books like unofficial guides, etc. It makes me think that they have classes just for this purpose like "pretend you do not know English","look like a disney attraction and people will stay out of your way and you can take over the "world", etc.

Another factor is that the guides are not their parents so that gives them more freedom to be rowdy and obnoxious. Whereas, the cheerleaders are chapparoned by moms which makes a world of a difference.

Just my two cents worth. In all cases, I avoid July just for that reason.:p

Peachgirl and Jenniferhouston:

LOL! Thanks for the chuckle!

to people who were annoyed ny stroller people:

Sometimes they need to be hurry because:

kids are crying, kids are hungry, changing diaper, restroom, etc.

If you have ever raised kids, you should know by now that something unexpected should be expected when dealing with kids.

And WDW is that place not only for adults but kids,

So, better be careful about how you phrase, it looks stereotype for stroller people...

Maybe Disney should make a new EPCOT that is only for Brazilian cheerleaders pushing triple wide strollers smoking cigarettes while clipping the side of your face with the electric spraying fans and yelling on their walkie talkie telling them to cut up in line where they have been holding a spot for the other 8 people in their group.

The new EPCOT will stand for Extreamly Pushy Community Of Tommorow

Not that I'm condoning some of my fellow Jersians behavior, (are you sure they were from Jersey--many from across the Bay/River are MUCH worse!) but that is the reason that LITTLE girls shouldn't BE IN PI!!! It's an adult place, that's why adult supervision is required after a certain time. I have no sympathy for the parents, and if they were that upset, they should have left. Would the parents take the kid to a bar at home? Probably not. Then why did they take her to one on vacation. Yes, it's Disney, but PI is MARKETED as a place for ADULT entertainment, which means it could get risque. If they don't approve of ADULT type entertainment, they don't have to go, and they definitely don't have to take their child. Besides, frankly she's probably seen or heard it at school anyhow.

Anne

Hi Anne,

Im sure its not Jersians by nature to be loud and obnoxius ... hell anyone can loud and obnoxius. But they Ladies did say when asked by one of the performers that they were from New Jersey. And then theres that accent ... but I suppose thats pretty rich coming from someone who lives 'Down Under'.

As for Children at PI, I have seen several children (school age 5+) with Parents wondering PI at night. The last time for me was after a La Nouba performance, I have seen kids in the Comedy Warehouse and in Motions as well on several occassions. In fact, we've been at Motion when it was absolutely dead and the kids were on the floor dancing to Britney Videoes.

Now Im not a Parent, so it would not be my place to say wether they should be there or not and I do understand that PI is a Adult venue. I suppose like bad tour groups, them people will be those people and we tolerate the best we can.

This is certainly not a resort oriented thread - so it is closed!
