??? About booking and credit cards

I booked out last trip myself and paid by credit card.

I am planning another trip for 2012, but I do not want to use a credit card to book it. I also like the have the control so I really don't want to book with a TA.

Is there a way I can book with Disney and not use a credit card? I don't mind using a cc for the deposit, but for personal reasons I really want to avoid using a credit card at all costs.

What would my options be?

I don't see why you couldn't use a travel agent. It isn't like they are going to make the decisions for you on your trip or take over the decision making, since you are the boss and they work for you. You can pay the travel agency in cash in US funds and they can use a company credit card to pay if they have a company credit card that is also in US funds. Many do. If they have to use a company credit card that is only in Canadian then you would also have to pay whatever the credit card service fees are and the exchange as well.

As a convenience, Walt Disney Parks and Resorts U.S., Inc. is able to accept Canadian cheques drawn on U.S. funds as a form of payment for reservations.

If you telephone the Disneyland Resort on 714 520-5060 or the Walt Disney World Resort on 407 939-7675, a Host or Hostess will direct you through the process.

I booked witha credit card but have been purchasing Us $ while its been low. Also credit cards add 2.5% to the exchange so I have kept the money in my US account and will mail them a US bank draft

So will Disney take a money order in U.S dollars drawn from a Canadian bank? That would be awesome. I could courier my payment to them.

Yes they well and I have paid for my trips that way several times. They have an overnight courier address and a seperate address to just mail in a payment. I suggest calling them first and telling them exactly what you are doing and getting the correct address.
Also, I always include a copy of my reservation in the envelope I mail, as well as writing my reservation # on the money order. It's never been a problem and with the Canada Post express service it usually is applied to my account within the week.
