While we have stayed before, we have never used the bus service. We are going for a very short trip and pondering not renting a car. Do the buses share with anyone to MK and how did you feel the service was ? Thanks.

Stayed at both-one trip in May, and the other trip was during the busy, crazy week between Christmas and New Years. I don't remember there being any problems with the buses(even during that crazy New Years week) or sharing buses with any other resort.

I think the buses are hit or miss. The year we stayed at the BC was a pretty busy time (right before Christmas) and the buses were shared among all 5 resorts the entire week we were there. The buses were always full with standing room only by the time they got to the BC. With that said, I have read various reports from the buses only sharing between the YC & BC to sharing among all 5 resorts and then everything in between. I don't think you will really know what it will be like until you get there.

This has been my experience. It is pretty frustrating paying for a deluxe resort and having to share with all the Epcot resorts sometimes. Disney does try to minimize the sharing if they can anticipate it, but I always consider this as a potential problem when I book a stay at BW or BC.

We've stayed at either the BC or BW a number of times and our bus experiences have also varied but on the last 2 trips it was always either YC/BC or BW/Swan & Dolphin, but never all 5 on one bus. I'm hoping this is the new standard. Also, BW was always picked up and dropped off before Swan & Dolphin on our last trip in October.

We just had a short trip and stayed at Yacht Club. We were there Jan 24-28.
We used the bus to MK a couple of times. Both times YC shared with BC only. YC was picked up and dropped off first. We had really good luck with buses both ways. Hope you enjoy your trip.

On our last 2 trips which were to BC/YC it was only BC/YC to MK & AK (all though AK stopped at water park for drop off), but DTD was all 5 resorts. I hate transport to DTD!

Thanks for all the responses. We will only have 3 park days on this trip, 2 HS and 1 MK so I think we will forgo the car.
