? about APH rates

Do they ever come down in price once they are posted? They are quite high for August ($305 RPH) we only paid $195 last year. We currently are still booked for club but I really don't think we will pay $305, we'd sadly downgrade, or stay elsewhere.....
Does anyone know if the APH rates are set in stone or will they come down as the date gets closer?

They have been known to come down as the date gets closer but I haven't seen it lately. I know last year I booked an APH rate of $169 for my dates in May but later the rate went down to $149 on weekend days and $119 for weekdays so I called and changed my reservation. This year as you know the rates are much higher. We all seem to waiting to see what happens.
